The competing teams

Two teams by age, plus LGNDS Next Gen, our invitation-only team. Dancers join through auditions.

6–12

Competing Kids

Ages 6 to 12. First competition season, with the training to back it up.

How to get on a team

  1. 01

    Come to auditions

    Mid-year auditions are planned for March. Watch this page for the date.

  2. 02

    Dance for the coaches

    Dancers learn the audition choreography in a class-style setting for one hour. After a short break, they perform it in small groups for a panel of judges. The whole process takes 3 to 4 hours. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring water.

  3. 03

    Get your team

    The coaches tell you which team fits. If your dancer isn't ready to compete yet, a Performing Team is the way in.

3 hours of rehearsal per week, plus extra rehearsals as needed.
